I am a avid reader of blogs started by people, who are very successful in the online industry and are making a great amount of money with their online ventures. Reasons, well first is inspiration, their astounding success always inspires me to work hard, when i really get frustrated. Second, their valuable advices on various topics, they are seasoned bloggers who are into this market for very long and know what will click for his/her readers.

Well that said and done, its really good to follow footsteps of a successful blogger to repeat his/success story, but there are few things you have to care about.

Like once i was reading blog of one of my favorite blogger, and he wrote how he bought 10 websites for around $1000 websites in one week and made more then $5000 from those websites in a 3 month time.

Similarly, same guy once wrote a post on how he bought around 70-80 domains and parked them on sedo and earned great amount of profits from it.

So, after reading all this i was also thinking of doing the something same, and big profit dreams were running around me. But when the excitement settled i gave it a long thought, and found out it was certainly not my cup of cake for the reasons described below :

1. That guy earns 1000′s of dollar every month, and even if something went wrong in his ventures it wont affect him much, but a similar loss will be very serious for me, as $1000 is a very big amount for me and i think for all starters. Yes you learn by making mistakes but just try to avoid costly mistakes and don’t get dazzled by other people success.

2. Buying sites is just not the final step in getting profits, there is much work to be done after buying them in order to make them successful. No matter how much work you do, there are always some tricks of the trade which are held by successful bloggers which they don’t share, And which is absolutely right in all sense. No body will share his secret successful recipe. So, its not fixed you will be able to get the same success. Hard work pays but in online business, smart work takes a cut above. And learning how to work smart takes a time, so learn learn and learn.

3. Successful bloggers are well known in web world and they have access to so many people, which help in making their ventures a success. They know right people for the job and as a starter you wont be having such leverage. So, try to make few friends and research before getting into something big.

4. Adding to the point above, successful bloggers don’t sweat out to make everything work, they have the money and they outsource a good amount of work. As they have money as their disposal but not the time. And for a person who is just starting, outsourcing means extra burden on his/her limited funds.

But after reading these points, don’t think that its nearly impossible to make money online, Yes its hard for starters but you have to be patient and learn everyday. I am doing the same and will add that my work is starting to show results. My earnings are not very big but yes they are increasing.

So, before jumping into something just give it a deep thought and see both sides of the coin. From my side best of luck to all
