Well this is a problem isn’t it, for publishers in India, first there is no direct deposit option from adsense, neither it is having the option to send the money to paypal. Only option remains the check which takes aweful lot of time to reach. On top of that now these checks are taking almost a month to get clear, for me atleast.

So, to get one month earnings, you have to wait almost 2 months before it actually lands in your account.

Considering the no. of adsense publishers in India, its high time Google introduced the direct deposit, so that this turn around time decreases to a great extent.

Ok there is a new trend of scams on the horizons, picking up their victims pretty quickly and its all related to adsense. This story began when adsense stopped accepting crappy sites or fairly new sites to their program and gave the 6 month timer period for any site to get accepted in adsense. So, what so you know, it gave a birth to new type of scams : GET APPROVED IN ADSENSE IN 1 DAY,2DAYS etc crap.

So, I just wanted to warn, people please don’t get sucked in these schemes. These are all scams, there is reason adsense is giving 6 month wait period for new sites. As on the average any new site takes time to get a decent amount of traffic to inturn get a good amount of earnings from adsense. So, please utilize your energy in making you website better rather then falling for those scamsters, people in google are not fools, they will figure it out eventually and you will loose your account.

Special Note For People In India : DON’T DO IT, cause i have seen them replying the most in forum threads where these scams threads gets posted.

I am in a process of experimenting the same thing, i mean showing lots of ads on you blog means you are giving your visitors lots and lots of reasons to get out of here. Wouldn’t it be better if they hang around for more on your website and check out your hardwork on posts etc. I certainly hope so . Moreover if you are using CPC network like adsense showing less ads means you will more buck for a click.

I would update more details on the findings next week whether it made any difference on the page views + earnings.

To be honest its a very very lengthy process to move domains to adsense domain parking. In other domain parking companies like Sedo you just have to change your nameservers and you are done, but with Adsense well its a lot of work updating the DNS values for each and every domain and you need to add 4 ips for each domain ( won’t go in details why its required as of now).

I didn’t knew in start that this much work will involved, added around 15 of my domains to adsense domain parking from the adsense control panel.

But its fine the ordeal is over, i am planning to post an easy walkthrough which will show how to easily park your domains to adsense. I used godaddy so my post will be about that only

Adsense added more fonts to the textual ad units. So, now you can choose from Arial, Verdana, Times .

Just logged into my account and saw that Adsense for domains is available for me, that mean adsense publishers in India can used this feature which was launched 2-3 months back but was only available for North America publishers only.

So, if some of your domains are lying around and collecting virtual dust, try domain parking with Adsense . I will for sure.

Due to unknown reasons adsense ads were not displaying on any of my sites. First i freaked out and thought there goes my earnings and adsense account. But then i logged into adsense account it was working fine.

So, i think it was part of some adsense update or something because of which ads were not getting displayed. However i may add that this was only applicable for Indian based sites as i checked out some big sites based in US, ads were working fine, then checked out some big Indian sites, ads were not working.

Anyways ads are now displaying and i am happy .

If you are into websites or blogging, you must have heard about Adsense unless you were living under the rock. And if you are using adsense ppc ads, you definitely know about how so many people get banned by Adsense everyday.

There is hardly anyone using adsense, who doesn’t have a fear of loosing his/her account, including me. I have heard so many stories on webmaster forums, where people come up everyday claiming that they were banned by Adsense. Some claim they didn’t do anything wrong, and didn’t break any TOS, some agree that yes they were stupid enough to like clicking on their own ads, to earn quick money.

People doing things wrong and getting banned seems fair enough, but people who claim that they were right all along but still were banned puts a insecurity in everyone’s mind.

So what could have happen, which led to the “fair/right” people account getting banned, well only thing which comes to my mind is click bombing, where someone who wants to harm you personally will continuously click on the ads which may lead to problems with adsense and hence a possible ban.

But I really don’t think adsense people will just jump to the point, that all the way you were doing fine, but one day you wake up, and start clicking mindlessly on your ads. There must be something else also, some logic which is not known to anyone else.

So, what can one do to save yourself from getting banned, well

1. Follow the Adsense TOS religiously.

2. Don’t brag too much about your “$100″ per day earnings, if they are totally dependent on adsense. In the worst case scenario it may very well create jealousy among your competitor and result in a possible click bombing.

3. Don’t try to be a web police of sorts, telling everyone in the forum how a person is breaching adsense tos and displaying illegal content on his/her website. Its not your job, if he/she is doing something wrong, their adsense account will be eventually banned. But that person may be very well get offended and may cause harm to your website.

Well these all things i follow as of now(2nd one is not applicable to me still ). And i really hope google/adsense should come with something, to save their publishers.

Finally Adsense introduces ads for Parked Domains. This comes a blessing for all, who bought domains names and still haven’t developed them. And to be honest, i parked 6 domains on a big domain related website, and my earnings were negligible, they were getting good amount of views and visits but hardly any clicks.

So, my trust level with domain parking websites is bit low. But now everything is going to change, in coming future, we will be able show adsense ads in your parked domains. So, your ads your earnings plus you can track your earning using channels.

I checked it out anyways in my adsense account, it was not enabled. So, Indian publishers will have to wait for sometime, till they can use this new feature.

God knows what will happen with godaddy and sedo domain parking business.

*This is as per my experience it may stand otherwise for you.

Last month i was persuaded to put some affiliate advertisement in place of adsense ads in my blog, thinking that i will earn more then what i am getting from adsense. Joined clickbank and started displaying some affiliate 125*125 ads. At that time traffic to my blog was around 2000 visits per day, which i thought was enough to bring me some affiliate sales.

But i was proven wrong, i kept the ad for almost 2 weeks and no sales came through not even a lead. And on top of that i was loosing my adsense clicks. People were clicking on the affiliate ad but were not buying the product.

I know that affiliate sales will earn much more more then adsense ads, hence they are not easy to get. But all said and done, according to me one should try affiliates once you have gained a decent amount of traffic. Well let say 10,000 visits per day, will be the time when i will again try with affiliate ads, till then adsense+kontera will do the job.
