Yup you heard it right, if you go to register a new email account at gmail, you will have to give your phone number as well. Which will be verified by google and then only you will be getting a new email account.

Gmail claims that this policy is part of their spam curbing process. Well this technique should work to some extent on bringing down spam email accounts.

I haven’t tried it so far, so I dont know whether you can register more than one account using the same phone number. Have to find it out

First of all i am a firefox fan, always have been but the amount of ram it eats up while running is PRETTY HIGH. Its to such a extent that my laptop fan start running furiously even with a casual browsing using firefox. So, today I downloaded Google Chrome, and till now its showing amazing results. CPU fan is running pretty quite even though just for testing i am opening quite heavy sites.

So, with my first results Google Chrome seems to be pretty favourable than Firefox, ofcourse i will miss all those cool addons but still Chrome is the way to go now .

Well to be honest i was lured into putting adsense ads all around my one website hoping i will earn more money. As my website is around 3 months old, it was not giving me 100’s of dollars a day but yes with around minimum 1000 page views per day, i was getting around $1-$2 on a daily basis. Which is not bad for a new website, as i am not very expert in monetizing my site.

I write my own content and really want to help people by my site. And seeing the traffic increasing on my site gives me assurance that the work i am doing is being noticed. But yesterday i was checking out my site and thought, if i am a person coming from outside and reading posts, is my reading experience hampered by all the ads around the posts. And the answer was a a big “YES“, ads block ruin the user experience if not done correctly.

Personally if i visit some blog and posts are stuffed with ads, it really puts me off, and makes a impression that the guy is only writing for money. So, i decided to remove almost every ad sense unit from my blog, just keeping one small unit, which will not hinder the post reading in any way.

So, no ads on that website until i learn to do it in a proper way. And about ads on this site, well they will also move in coming days.

Well to start with, I also didn’t knew in starting what both the terms iPhone g3 and iPhone 2 meant, but you will amazed when i will tell you that these two terms are actually getting hundreds of searches in google everyday from around the world. Strange but true, after much finding  we found out that iPhone g3,iPhone3g and iPhone 2 are same .

How let me explain

As we all know till now there is only 2 generations of iPhone that is available in market, one is first generation of iPhone which was released last year(2007) and second is the iPhone 3G, which was released earlier this year. So, apprently iPhone1G is a term used for first generation if iPhones and second generation of iPhone are iPhone 3G, where 3G according to wikipedia stands for the “third generation of mobile phone standards and technology, superseding 2.5G. It is based on the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) family of standards under the IMT-2000″.

Which means 3G is technology not a term related to iPhone only, its a term associated with all the mobile phones in the world, which can use the 3G communication for fast data transfer due to the improved network efficiency.
