Mega Champ

This is my first update regarding mine affiliate marketing Journey. My target was to make atleast 2 sales in first month. But i fell one short and was able to make only one sale. That’s understandable as I was neck deep in studying on how things go around in Affiliate Marketing and didn’t got much time to put some of the learnings into play. But this month is seriously unforgivable, this month I have to atleast 10 sales with 1 from past month.

So, 11 sales in total, thats my minimum for this month.

Some statistics for June:

Offers Promoted : 3 excluding one Lead offer
Money Spent On Advertising : 60$ all on media buying, no ppc marketing involved.
Total Sales Made : 1
Money Earned : $80
Total Profit : $20

Well I am not at all impressed with the results and have to gear up for this month and to have some good amount of sales to increase the profits.

Why I am sharing the details, well if you(reader) are also new to affiliate marketing, join me in the journey we can help each other to grow. And if you (reader) are already a established affiliate marketer I would really appreciate, if some tips and tricks of the trade can shared .

Well its my strategy, might not appeal to all. If you are into affiliate marketing and specially a newbie in that like me, you will notice that each n every niche your pick up is already filled to its core. Which “SHOULD” make you think how will I earn money in between all these super affiliates who are churning out thousands dollar sales in one day and completely taken over affiliate marketing.

To be honest I myself have to figure it out YET. The only way I came up with is rather difficult to figure that out. I took 2 of the most difficult niche to work on.  Both niches are extremely saturated and utterly competitive.

So, I am putting all my efforts into both to make money. The learning from here is that, if I am able to make “some” monye in these 2 niches, I will be able to compete better in other niches which are not that crowded.

Its all part of learning the Affiliate marketing world and my way of dealing with it .

To be honest its sometimes better to have in house applications or tools which satisfy your exact needs. And if you are in making money online business its makes a pretty big difference if you are having your own tools to handle your business or stuff you want to do. You can also see that all the the big internet marketers like shoemoney are mostly handling their business with their applications. As there is always some stuff which you don’t want to share with outside world.

Particularly I was having problems for having my affiliate marketing stint to get going, but with some coding I came up with a application which will certainly help in handling the offers and making websites. Its very early to share details on what its exactly doing but I will be sharing details in coming times. As it will help those who are just starting with affiliate marketing. So, if you are a developer and in money making online business, do apply your skills to minimise manual work.

To be honest its a very very lengthy process to move domains to adsense domain parking. In other domain parking companies like Sedo you just have to change your nameservers and you are done, but with Adsense well its a lot of work updating the DNS values for each and every domain and you need to add 4 ips for each domain ( won’t go in details why its required as of now).

I didn’t knew in start that this much work will involved, added around 15 of my domains to adsense domain parking from the adsense control panel.

But its fine the ordeal is over, i am planning to post an easy walkthrough which will show how to easily park your domains to adsense. I used godaddy so my post will be about that only

After first post on iiPhoneWp.com This is my second update on a domain buying, recently i bought blogpalmpre.com.

Why, well to start a blog about the new Palm Pre which is turning heads all around. And i am pretty sure that Palm Pre will surely get to heights similar to iPhone, not equivalent but yes it will surely be a worthy contender.

And really domain squatters hats off to you, soon will be a time when there will no good domains to buy. I was thinking Palm Pre is pretty new in the market and there won’t be much competition around this, but I was so wrong. Every good domain related to Pre was gone to possible squatters, as all i thought off were parked with a big “SALE” board on them. I am always really tight on budget so didn’t even bother to ask the price for any of the domains, as it would have been quoted pretty high. That’s the whole point of domain squatting right .

Yesterday by sheer luck i was able to grab the domain iphonewp.com. By seeing the craze floating around iPhone, i was lucky enough to get this domain. But I need to develop it properly, considering there are already so many iPhone wallpaper sites ahead of me.

I always wanted to have a wallpaper website and you will see that this phenomenon is very common among who are new to either blogging or building websites. They will always think of getting a wallpaper or video site running. As they are most easy to built, almost every one have a huge collection of wallpapers in their computer. So, they just upload them and have a fully functional website, there can be some trademark issues but we will leave that discussion to some other day. Same is with video websites, you can embed codes from so many video sharing websites, youtube, metacafe, vimeo and what not.

And I share the same thoughts as well, i have a video based domain as well, but its just sitting there and collecting virtual dust.

I will build both video and wallpaper website, just for flipping. Believe it or not a website based on wallpapers or videos are easiest to sell.
