If you are using php, apache wamp on windows vista this tip is for you.

While working on a script i was getting the “Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init()” error all the time. Believe me when i say, there are countless solutions been listed on net, but most of them are either old or doesn’t hold good anymore.

Here is the exact solution which worked for me :

To do away the error you have to edit your php.ini.

Go to path : C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.8\bin
find php.ini file
open it
find the line ;extension=php_curl.dll
remove the “;’ from the line, so in the end it will look like this
extension=php_curl.dll

restart apache/wamp and you are good to go.

Let me know if are still facing the problem. Although for sure you shouldn’t after the above steps

There is something wrong with the new stat plugin from wordpress. When i saw that wordpress launched their official stat plugin , i grabbed then and there. But from few days I am seeing that its not giving out proper results. There is one website of mine blogpalmpre.com, it gets almost min 1000 page views per day, but the wordpress stat is showing 0 from past 2 days.

So, there has to be something wrong with the plugin. So, if you also installed that plugin and seeing some strange results, remember you are not alone .

As I have been sharing earlier that my first stint with Affiliate marketing is going on and its little/very tough to crack that first sale. Its been a week and I got around 100 clicks from 40,000 AD impressions or so. Well that beings said, nobody out of those 100 clicks bought any stuff or not even signed for anything, other wise I would have got a lead. So, I really wonder how these PPC guys make money, its gives a impressions that if you don’t begin with a decent ad campaign, making a mark in affiliate marketing can be tough.

Anyways friends my battle goes on, my target is to get atleast 2 sales in my fist ever month of affiliate marketing and till now signs are not that good but still I have 3 weeks left and plenty of work can be done in the meantime.

First of all i am a firefox fan, always have been but the amount of ram it eats up while running is PRETTY HIGH. Its to such a extent that my laptop fan start running furiously even with a casual browsing using firefox. So, today I downloaded Google Chrome, and till now its showing amazing results. CPU fan is running pretty quite even though just for testing i am opening quite heavy sites.

So, with my first results Google Chrome seems to be pretty favourable than Firefox, ofcourse i will miss all those cool addons but still Chrome is the way to go now .

I just hope today that India wins, after their dismal performance against WestIndies its been proven that they are not invincible. And if they want to go to atleast in quarterfinals they have to win this match and the one against south africa.

Even if they win both the matches still it will be decided by run rate, so India should buckle up and give everyone a good show if they want to keep their hopes alive of winning the world cup again. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Let the best team win(Let it be India please god ) .
